Father God, holy and righteous you are; you're always working to bring to pass Kingdom purposes. Your word declares that you set up leaders, and I believe that you have chosen Barack Obama through the voice of the people for such a time as this. Father, I pray that he is strong and of good courage to do your will. He will not fear, nor be dismayed for you LORD are with him, and will be with him. You, LORD will not forsake him nor fail him and he will finish the work you've assigned to him for this nation and the world according to I Chronicles 28:20-21.
Thank you, LORD GOD. I pray that you surround him with a team of skillful workers, men and women of integrity; may his cabinet be righteous, all with a heart to what is right and those who will be wholly at his command as President Obama listens to and hears your voice. I pray that his steps are ordered by your word. Let his ears be open to hear clearly and make wise decisions.
I pray that angels encamp around him and his family to protect and preserve their lives. Anoint the secret service to be alert and watchful at all times.
Expose any and every evil, demonic plot, threat, and scheme to cause harm or assassinate President Obama. Father, I pray for those who are displeased or even angered by your choice made by the voice of the people. Open their eyes to see that change is for the good the nation, the United States of America.
Let wisdom and honor of your majesty be revealed to the world through the leadership of your chosen one for this season, era and purpose.
Let salvation come! Let there be revival in our homes, churches, schools and this country. Let the hearts of people be drawn to you, Lord during this economic crisis. I pray for your divine intervention, grace, and mercy.
Let the spirit of unity through the supernatural working of the Holy Spirit make us one nation under God. Let the legacy of faith that caused our people to persevere and persist during past struggles arise within our generation that will reach out to you unwaveringly and believe your word of promise to deliver us from the bondge of sin. Set us free in mind, spirit and soul. In Jesus' name and by the Power of the Blood of the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. Amen.
